You may benefit from lab tests for COVID-19 if you’re experiencing symptoms of the disease. Common symptoms include:

You may also benefit from the lab test if you were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Do I have COVID-19?

GatherWell uses diagnostic tests to detect an active case of the COVID-19 virus by testing samples collected from a comfortable shallow nasal swab.

Did I have COVID-19?

GatherWell also offers a type of testing to see if you had the COVID-19 virus in the past and now have antibodies. This test is conducted via oral swab.

Antibody Testing $40 – Results in 15 minutes

Tip: Before scheduling, check with your insurance provider, as many are able to reimburse the full cost of the test.

COVID Treatment

GatherWell is not able to offer COVID-19 treatment options at this time, however, is able to provide you with the following information and resources to help you to find access treatment options that could be right for you.

The most common prescription treatment for COVID-19 today is Paxlovid. Paxlovid is an oral antiviral taken over 5 days and should be taken as soon as possible after diagnosis and within five days. The medication is authorized for emergency use to treat mild-to-moderate cases of the virus in people who are at high risk for severe COVID-19. Paxlovid has several drug interactions and may not be safe for all people with certain medical conditions. It is important to discuss the risk and benefits with your health care provider who knows your health history. Paxlovid prescription are available at no cost to those who are eligible for treatment

  • Follow-up With Your Primary Care Provider
    GatherWell recommends you share information from your visit with your primary care provider. If you test positive, your doctor may be able to use your CLIA certified test result from GatherWell to prescribe a COVID-19 treatment without an office visit. Your primary care physician will have access to previous health records to determine if you meet criteria to be safely treated.
  • Ask Your Pharmacist for a Prescription               
    State-licensed pharmacist are able to prescribe Paxlovid to individuals who meet eligibility requirements. If you test positive for COVID-19 you may be able to use your CLIA certified result from GatherWell to request a prescription from your pharmacist.
  • Participate in a Paid COVID-19 Treatment Research Study
    GatherWell is not affiliated with this study. If you tested positive for COVID-19, you may be eligible to participate in a paid voluntary clinical research study through ACTIV-6 to help researchers learn more about how to treat and prevent COVID-19. This study is testing medications that are already approved for other diseases to see if they can help people with mild to moderate COVID-19. To learn more Click here.
